Im a scorpio and Ive been a pyro my whole life. I love to play with fire. Fortunately I found out about spinning fire a few years ago. Fire spinning has become a huge huge inspiration to me. Just being in the pagan and the fire community here locally has been a true gift . Ive met so many beautiful people along the way, ones I know I will remember for as long as I am around. I love my native american heritage and I feel very connected to nature and it manifests in my love of camping, outdoors and fire spinning. I love to be around parties and crowds but Im the quiet type b personality, that likes quiet times alone in my room with my music and my thoughts
On Religion :
I grew up christian, as most people do in this country. As I said before, Ive been fortunate enough to meet and to be exposed to a wonderful group of pagan people. This really changed my perspective on religion and spirituality. Nursing has also had an impact on my view of religion. As a nurse, every time I go into work I have to take report from the nurse going off shift. If I were to accept their report as the truth and start charting on my patients immediately afterwards, without going in my self to assess them and gain empirical knowledge of their status... Not only would I potentially get myself into some serious trouble, more importantly, I would endanger their lives. I apply the same concept to my spirituality. I think it is irresponsible and ignorant to automatically take the word of someone of religious authority on what I am to believe. I will gladly listen to pretty much anyone, but will I believe it outright without "thinking for myself and questioning authority?" Dont think so.
